โจ Bringing this leather chair back to life! ๐ช
Today I gave this beauty a much-needed refresh by feeding the leather, a simple but powerful way to care for leather furniture and keep it looking its best.
๐ What is “feeding leather”?
It’s the process of nourishing the leather using a conditioner or balm, which helps to replenish the natural oils that dry out over time. This not only softens the leather and makes it more supple, but also smooths out minor blemishes and wear marks.
๐งด The process:
I started by giving the chair a gentle clean to remove surface dust and dirt.
Then, using a soft cloth, I worked a small amount of leather conditioner into the surface in circular motions.
After letting it absorb for a few hours, I buffed it lightly to bring out a subtle sheen.
The result? The leather feels softer, looks richer, and those dry, tired spots are noticeably improved. It’s like skincare… but for furniture!
