John Boddy
Owner & Founder of Mylor & Mawes
If you know the shop, you would have known John. Sadly John passed away in July 2022, after working within the shop for over 50 years. He is missed so very much not only by family, friends & staff but by the whole of Salisbury.

John opened the doors in Fisherton Street in 1971 with Salisbury Bedding Centre and then Salisbury Bedding & Furniture Centres. The foundations have always been the same even though the name may have changed, quality goods, value and service every step of the way. 

John was highly respected and renowned for his expertise and dedication to the industry. There is nothing he didn't know about beds & furniture.

John's daughters Tammy & Lucinda continue the business on in Johns honour & are extremely proud to do so.

Lawrence (or Griff as he is known to many) has been with the family business for so long (30+ years) that he is actually part of the furniture. He is also the resident expert and his knowledge in the industry is second to none.

Craig has been with us for 17 years. Not only is he always happy to see you, he also has an expert eye for detail, style and product knowledge to boot.

Sales & Logistics

(Not 'that' Will Smith) Will has been with Mylor & Mawes for 14 years. He has fantastic knowledge across the board and you'll often see him out and about on deliveries too making sure every detail is perfect right to the last moment.
